️Not feeling parts of your body, disconnected.

️Feeling and waking up fatigued.

️Sleep disruption, waking up with hot flush.

️Sluggish system.

EXERCISES TO HELP CONNECT BACK TO SELF

Acknowledge what is going on in your physiology.

Pause.

Get back in your body by:

Stamping your feet.

Bring your hands together and squeeze them against each other.

Hugging yourself by placing your hands under the opposite armpit and take deep slow breaths.

Soften your facial features.

Splash cold water on your face.

Use your senses - things that you can hear, touch, smell, see.

LONG TERM PRACTICES:

As with all practices, we tend to benefit from repeating them on a daily basis. And over time building a new healthier neural pathways of connecting to ourselves.

Deepen and slow down your breath.

Ground yourself deeper.

Scan your body daily and notice where you are feeling constricted.

What feelings are present in that constriction.

What emotion is present in that constriction.

What memory is connected to that constriction.
