FACE GUA SHA THERAPY

"Your skin is the fingerprint of what is going on inside your body, and all skin conditions, from psoriasis to acne to aging, are the manifestations of your body's internal needs, including its nutritional needs."

    - Dr. Georgiana Donadio

    What is Gua Sha?

Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, this relaxing treatment combines Face Mapping, Lymphatic Drainage, gentle Acupressure point stimulation and Gua Sha lifting technique with Rose Quartz Gua Sha and a Jade Roller.

The  technique of gentle rhythmic strokes helps improve drainage as well as the flow of stagnant blood, lymph and Qi.

When performed regularly, Gua Sha helps sinus congestion, acne, skin pigmentation, puffiness & dark circles under the eyes, resulting in an overall healthy complexion.

Other benefits of regular Gua Sha treatments include reduced muscle tension, softening the appearance of  lines and firm skin.

Rose Quartz Gua Sha Crystal has the ability to maintain cool temperature so it is the ideal tool to help with inflammation and redness.

While Jade Roller is used at the end to absorb the heat from the skin.

Frankincense essential oil has anti-aging properties which is used to assist in the movement of the tools on the skin.

    What happens in the session?

    • We begin with preparing your skin with a refreshing cleanser milk to remove all impurities & soften your skin.

    • Using the Rose Quartz Gua Sha performing drainage technique to drain away toxins in the tissues followed on with the lifting techniques.

    • Finally a Jade roller is used to assist in the penetration of the finishing products, while calming inflammation in the skin and aiding the lymphatic drainage.

Your skin will be left hydrated, plumped with a healthy complexion and tranquil spirit.
